The unit has a sensor that measures humidity and shows as a percentage on the front screen along with room temperature, if the humidity is too high the unit turns up to full automatically, it is an indication of relative air humidity of the air around the unit.
Please know that an air purifier has a ventilation effect: the clean wind blown by the air purifier will take away the heat and moisture in the air, accelerate the evaporation of air moisture, and indirectly increase the indoor ‘relative humidity’, which is beneficial to the human body.
The right air humidity has an important impact on human health and the environment.
Suitable range of air humidity:
40%-60%: This range is considered to be the humidity range where the human body feels most comfortable. At this humidity level, the total number of bacteria, germs, moulds and parasites in the environment is at a minimum, which ensures fresh air.
30%-50%: For most people, maintaining indoor humidity in this range will help to alleviate the symptoms of a dry and sore throat, while avoiding the chest tightness and shortness of breath that can result from high humidity.
30%-80%: In winter, when the air is dry, it is recommended to maintain the humidity in this range; in summer, when the air humidity itself is high, it is recommended to maintain 40%-60%.
